The Cabin is a unique handcrafted log home situated in the town of Twizel, in the Mackenzie district of the south island of New Zealand. It is a place where you can come to relax and unwind, or use as a base to stay while you explore the Mackenzie district and its picturesque surrounds.
With its two private interconnecting bedrooms and spacious open plan living area the cabin is ideal for families as well as couples to enjoy. Complete with a wood burner indoors for those chilly evenings to keep you warm and cosy.
The Cabin is situated on a quiet urban street with views of mountains and rolling downs. Shops, restaurants and bars are an easy 10 minute walk away.
Several Mountains including New Zealands’ famous Mt Cook, glacial lakes and rivers are within easy driving distance or walking distance for the more adventurous and fit. With the town of Twizel hosting both national and international rowing events, being popular for salmon and trout fishing. Having Ski fields and aircraft gliding down the road, there is always plenty to see and do at all times of the year.
